Article 1210

Usufruct can be established in favor of two or more persons, either jointly or consecutively. In the latter case, persons who will be called to the usufruct consecutively must exist at the time of its establishment.

A usufruct in favor of two or more persons accrues to each remaining usufructuary, proportionately to his share, upon the termination of the right of one of them; unless otherwise provided, it is not terminated until the extinction of the right of the last remaining usufructuary.
