Article 667
Retroactive Effect
(1)
The judicial establishment of paternity has retroactive effect back to the time of the child’s birth.
#(2)
Rights acquired by third parties shall however be respected. Persons who have acquired rights in accordance with this Code’s provisions on Successions are not considered to be third parties.
#(3)
If a person loses his rights because of the retr oactive effect, he shall not have the obligation to restitute property which he has disposed of at the moment at which the action for judicial establishment of paternity is instituted.
