Civil Code · English · 2015 Article 669Possession of Status (1)In default of a record of birth, filiation is proved by the possession of status of child.#(2)A person has the possession of status of child when he is treated by a man or a woman, by their relatives and by society as being the child of such man or woman.#(3)Possession of status shall be proved by producing four witnesses.
