Article 365

Notice of appeal shall be filed in writing by the appellant or his pleader within fifteen (15) days of the judgment to the registry of the court that gave the judgment under appeal. On receipt of a notice of appeal, the registrar shall cause the judgment appealed to be copied and served upon the appellant or his pleader. Such copy shall be dated and the date on which it is handed to the appellant or his counsel shall be certified by the registrar.

The memorandum of appeal shall be filed within sixty days of receipt of the copy of the decision appealed.

Every memorandum of appeal shall be lodged by filing in the registry of the Appellate Court, upon payment of the prescribed court fee.
