Article 1542
Termination of a Contract
(1)
A right of action to terminate a contract for failure to perform it or a right of action to correct such failure is prescribed by five years from the beginning of the day following the one on which the creditor has become aware of the failure and, in any case, by twenty years from the day the failure has occurred.
#(2)
A right of action to claim restitution of whatever has been supplied is prescribed by five years from the beginning of the day following the one on which the contract has been terminated.
