Article 1762
Prescription of Right of Action and Defenses
(1)
Rights of action and defenses based on a lack of conformity are prescribed by the lapse of two years from the notification given according to the preceding Articles.
#(2)
However, the buyer retains, as a defense against an action for payment, the power to invoke his right to a reduction in the price in accordance with Article 1792 or his right to reparation of damage, except for loss of profit.
