Article 2398
Authority after Termination by Death, Judicial Interdiction or Renunciation
(1)
Notwithstanding the death or the judicial interdiction of the mandator, the mandatary remains empowered to perform juridical acts which are necessary for the management of a business.
#(2)
Notwithstanding the death or the judicial interdiction of the mandator, the mandatary remains empowered to perform juridical acts which cannot be postponed without causing prejudice. The same applies if the mandatary has renounced the mandate.
