Article 2660
Risks Covered
(1)
Unless the policy provides otherwise, the insurer shall indemnify the insured against risks arising from fortuitous events or from the negligence of the insured.
#(2)
The insurer shall indemnify the insured against losses or damages due to the fault of persons for whom the insured is responsible regardless of the nature or gravity of the fault committed.
#(3)
Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, the insurer shall not indemnify against risks arising from the intentional fault of the insured.
