Article 2603

Grounds for Cancellation

Any interested party may require the registration to be cancelled in the registers of immovable property, inter alia where:

(a)

the claim secured by the hypothec is extinguished;

(b)

the hypothecary creditor has renounced his hypothec;

(c)

the immovable hypothecated has been sold by auction and the proceeds of the sale have been distributed among the creditors; or

(d)

the amount accepted by the creditors in cases of an offer of redemption has been distributed among the creditors.
