Article 2108
Death of Farmer-Tenant or Lessor
In case of death of the farmer-tenant, his heirs may terminate the contract of lease by giving notice to the lessor within six months from the death.
#In case of death of the lessor, the farmer-tenant may terminate the contract of lease by giving notice to the heirs of the lessor within six months from the death of the latter, where the direction of the exploitation has been reserved to the lessor by the contract of lease.
#In the cases mentioned in sub-Article (1) and (2), the contract shall terminate on the first day of March which follows but not less than three months after the lessor or his heirs have received the notice from the farmer-tenant or from the heirs of the farmer-tenant.
