Article 740
3. Physicians and Clergymen
(1)
The Court may invalidate a testamentary provision made by the testator within six months preceding his death, in favor of a physician or any other person who has professionally bestowed on him bodily care or spiritual assistance.
#(2)
For the purpose of sub-Article (1), the word “physician” means any person who even illegally has prescribed or applied a medical treatment to the testator.
#(3)
The provisions of this article shall not apply where the beneficiary of the testamentary provision is a relative by consanguinity or affinity or the spouse of the testator.
