Article 206

Legal Exemptions

The following persons shall be exempt from the function of guardian, upon a mere declaration on their part, except as regards their own children:

(a)

any person who has completed his sixty-fifth year;

(b)

any person who has four minor children;

(c)

soldiers in active service; and

(d)

public officials who have to live abroad by reason of their office.
