Article 2216

An employee is entitled to uninterrupted annual leave with pay for the following minimum periods:

fourteen working days for the first year of service; and

fourteen working days plus one working day for each additional year of service.

Annual leave may not exceed thirty five working days.

The employee shall take the leave at a convenient time taking into consideration the interests of both the employer and the employee.

The employee is entitled to an advance of wages for the period of the leave.
