Article 58
Declaration
(1)
In those communes in which such duty has not been expressly imposed on him by the administration, the civil status officer shall not be bound to keep the registers himself.
#(2)
He shall communicate to the departmental office of civil status such information as is required for drawing up the records of civil status relating to births, deaths and marriages which have taken place in the commune.
#(3)
The records of civil status shall be drawn up immediately, on the basis of such information, by the officials of the departmental office of civil status.
