Article 68
Acknowledgment of a Child
(1)
If the acknowledgment of a child takes place before a civil status officer who does not keep the child’s birth record, that officer is obliged to notify, without delay, the civil status officer who keeps that record.
#(2)
If the acknowledgment of a child takes place before a public notary or administrator of the commune, the public notary or administrator of the commune is obliged to notify, without delay, the civil status officer who keeps the child’s birth record.
