Article 1600
Abuse of Rights
(1)
A person commits a fault where he intentionally uses his right so as to injure another without seeking personal gain, or to cause injury which is disproportionate to the personal gain he is seeking.
#(2)
Subject to the foregoing, the manner in which a right is used may not be challenged on the ground that it is contrary to the economic or social purpose of that right.
