Article 1671
Sexual Offences
(1)
Where a person has been convicted under the penal law for sexual offences, the Court may award the victim an equitable compensation by way of moral redress.
#(2)
Notwithstanding the provisions of Art. 1663 (3), the Court may, in the case of sexual offences, increase the maximum amount to fifty thousand Nakfas following the same pattern of setting the amount as provided for in Article 1663 (3).
